Scout Spirit is about the way you conduct your daily life – that is, your life both in and out of scouting activities.
You show Scout Spirit by being a role model, living by the Scout Oath and Law.
Being a Scout requires one to Do their Duty for his community. Troop 170 volunteers several hundred hours a year to the local community - we assist the Salvation Army, Bloomington POPs, St. Charles School & Church, and many more.
Troop 170 is active year round - camping, caving, hiking, cycling, swiming, & many more! We attend Summer Camp at Camp Maumee in the Hoosier National Forest.
High Adventure: Sea Base, Philmont, Boundry Waters - we plan a trip yearly!
With Troop 170 you will learn new skills. From Pioneering to Robotics or Fire Safety to Attomic Energy - Merit Badges offer a wide range of topics to study.
Become a great Leader through the Patrol Method.
